Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Movie Review
I was awaiting the movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan ever since I heard about it, not only I am a Salman fan, but also I am a true believer of Bajrangbali!
The Plot of Bajrangi Bhaijaan
As we have all seen in the trailers of this film, there is a little Pakistani girl who cannot speak is lost in India and our very own Bajrangi Bhaijaan helps her to find her home. The little girl came to Delhi with her mother to visit a famous Dargah, but on their way back home she got out of the train and missed it. She then saw another train and without knowing anything about it she got on it. She found Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi aka Bajrangi Bhaijaan, a blind believer of Hanumanji. Now, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has a story too, he does not cheat, lie or do any bad deed and thus spent most of his life in completing his education. He came to Delhi and found a family who knows his father. Kareena Kapoor, Rashika is in love with this golden-hearted boy: Pavan Kumar. When Rashika confessed her feelings for Pavan to her parents and they gave Pavan 6-month time to prove his credibility to marry Rashika. In this time, Pavan found the little Pakistani girl in the train. After failing to get any support from Delhi Police, Pavan took the little girl to Rashika’s house. Later everyone realize that the girl is actually from Pakistan and next comes the part where Pavan decides to take her home safely! None of them had Visa or Passport, so one can imagine going into rival neighbouring country in this situation can be very difficult, that too for a person who does not lie or cheat!
Anyways, in that country he found some good people who made him succeed in his mission and he finally escorted the little girl to her parents. The media spread the word of his noble mission and the people of Pakistan helped Pavan to safely get back to India, but that is not the end, miraculously, the girl gets back her voice! So, at last we cannot even say, ‘This happens only in India!’
I am truly inspired after watching this movie. I know they say, in real world, pure truth and golden heart take you nowhere, but this movie definitely gives you hope and to become that good person. Frankly, I cried a lot and my scarf was completely drenched, so I would definitely suggest you to take a box of tissue paper with you. For me this is an emotional film because of its story. I am Salman Khan fan but trust me the story touched my heart more. The acting of NawazUddin Siddique, Om Puri and the little girl is very commendable. Salman Khan’s fans would love this film, as usual!
I would like to say in Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s words, “Agar tum khud ko Salman ke asli bhakt maante ho, Bajrangi Bhaijaan zarur dekho aur unke jaise banne ki koshish karo!” (Translation: If you are a true fan of Salman Khan, do watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan and try to be like him!)
