Formula 1: Mexican Sergio Perez Joins Force India
Formula 1 Drivers Standing 2013
This is how the standing for drivers in Formula 1 looked for the year 2013. It’s quite visible that Force India didn’t have the best of the seasons and both its drivers: Paul Di Resta and Sutil finished 12th and 13th respectively. Though, the good news is- check the driver number 11th: Sergio Perez, who drove for Mclaren-Mercedes, he is the new catch for Force India for the 2014 season.
Sutil Bids Goodbye, Paul Di Resta Left Out
Adrian Sutil has been announced as Sauber’s first driver for the 2014 season. Meanwhile, Force India signed Sergio Perez as their second driver after signing Nico Hulkenberg few days ago. What this means is that Paul Di Resta’s Formula 1 future is in serious doubt following Force India’s decision to replace him with Mexican Sergio Perez. As per Vijay Mallaya, the owner of Force India, Paul did nothing wrong at Force India, but the move is more of a strategic action in order to better the Force India’s performance in next season.
Force India Looking To Revive In 2014 Season
Force India finished a comfortable 6th in the Formula 1 Constructors Standing in 2013. This is not a place where Force India would have liked to end the season, but such is the reality. Realistically, Force India was aiming for the 5th spot at least, and now we two new drivers for the next season Force India is trying it all to move up in the Constructors Standing for F1 2014.
GOOD LUCK FORCE INDIA FOR 2014!!
