Do or Die Game For Sunrisers
After losing 2 out of 3 matches in the league stage of the CLT 20, Sunrisers are probably in the worst position in the tournament. At the moment, Sunrisers have only 4 points at a net run-rate of -0.622, which is quite dismal.
On Monday, 30th September 2013, Sunrisers Hyderabad will clash against Brisbane Heat in a do-or-die Champions League Twenty20 match. The Shikhar Dhawan led Sunrisers Hyderabad would now have to win their match against Brisbane Heat by a very huge margin if they have to qualify for the last 4 stage of the distinguished tournament. Also, it’s necessary that Trinidad and Tobago win their match against the Titans and then lose to Chennai Super Kings in their last group match. Of course, it’s very difficult for Sunrisers to qualify given the current scenario, but as they say it- wait till the flat lady sinks!
Despite the 2 loses in the last 3 matches, one has to appreciate the effort made by Sunrisers in especially their last game against Chennai Super Kings, which Hyderabad lost by 12 Runs margin chasing a mammoth total of 202. West Indian captain Darren Sammy’s 50 off 25 balls the highlight of the match and once CSK took his wicket, the game turned into Chennai’s favor. The next match against Titans was a bad day for the Hyderabadi outfit. Sunrisers lost that match with 8 wickets.
Anyway, Sunrisers have to forget about the past and give their best short in the next match against Brisbane Heat even if they have the slightest of the chance.
So, #GoSunrisers !!
