BOXER VIJENDER SINGH WANTS TO OPEN A BOXING ACADEMY IN HYDERABAD
Boxer Vijender Singh expressed his desire to set up a Boxing Academy in Hyderabad, if the state government supports him. Vijender Singh is in Hyderabad for the ongoing 59th Senior National Men’s Boxing Championship.
VIJENDER SINGH’S HYDERABAD CONNECTION
Vijender Singh told media that he has a nice connection with the city of Nizaams. He has been in the city several times and he loves his stay each and every time while he is in Hyderabad. Vijender also told media that he has fond memories of Hyderabad as he won a medal in the Afro-Asian Games held here in 2003.
VIJENDER FEELS FOR THE SOUTH INDIAN BOXING TALENT
Vijender Singh feels that there is a lot of young boxing talent in Hyderabad and in the rest of South India. He said- a good infrastructure will do a world of good to the local boxing talent and India might get many strong boxers from the region. Vijender pledged his full support to the local talent if the state government backs him.
