DECCAN CHARGERS OUT OF THE IPL

On Friday later evening, post emergency meeting of the IPL’s governing council, BCCI officials announced that the termination of contract, which came one day after the  Deccan Charger’s owner Deccan Chronicle Group rejected a bid of INR 900 crore placed by a South Indian film financier and serial entrepreneur, was posed because of the breach of IPL franchisee contract by the Deccan Chronicle Group.

IPL’s governing body, BCCI, is now planning to announce a new city franchise in order to fill the void created by the fallout of the Deccan Chargers. If you are a Hyderabadi fan then this is a really sad news because now there won’t be any team representing the City of Nawaabs anymore in the subsequent seasons of the cash rich IPL Cricket League.

BCCI VS DECCAN CHARGERS

Rumors are the sudden ban posed on the Deccan Chargers by the IPL governing body is more because of the rising conflicts between the owners of the Deccan Chargers and the BCCI. The reasons why Deccan Group rejected the only bid that came for Deccan Chargers at INR 900 Crore are still unknown, but as per BCCI they can’t really understand why Deccan Group didn’t go ahead with the deal despite the bidders meeting its eligibility and suitability criteria.

This is what Gayatri Reddy, the owner of the Deccan Chargers wrote on Twitter.

SHANE WARNE’S ANOTHER CONTROVERSY ?

Shane Warne took a dig at the BCCI officials by praising Lalit Modi for the IPL, is it another controversy ? Have a look by yourself-

We all are wondering why Deccan Group didn’t sell the Deccan Chargers for a lone bid of INR 900 Crore, really no one can understand it at this moment of time. This is exactly the great India Cricket Statistician had to say on Twitter:
