The Hyderabadi girl, Saina Nehwal, won the  Thailand Grand Prix Gold badminton tournament. Saina didn’t look too animated about her win, but certainly showed a sense of relief by simply clinching her fist, later she smiled at her coach Pullela Gopi Chand and walked to shake hands with her opponent Ratchanok Inthanon.

This was Saina’s second international title in the year 2012, but due to the criticism in the recent time this win will go go a long way in easing the pressure off her shoulders.

This win has certainly come on a crucial time as heading towards the tournament such as Olympics boosts the confidence of a player leaps and bounds. We are sure Saina Nehwal will be feeling a lot at ease now and the win might have reinforced the belief that she can win a medal at the London Olympics.
